French door sets, double door sets and hinge doors that have a triple lock, where the lock points need to meet or go into another door that may have flush bolts in it. The top and bottom triple lock points in the door with the lock in it should not clash with the flush bolts in the door set that it’s being built with. In this case, you would want to make sure you have selected the “adjust triple lock points for flush bolt matching” option in your order.
By clicking “adjust triple lock points for flush bolt matching” selector means the lock points in the door with the triple lock kit in it will be moved so they won’t clash and impact with the other door it’s being built with. We will also cut the tongue points out in the door that has the flush bolts in it, so you don’t need to drill them out getting swarf inside the door potentially fouling the bottom flush bolt.
Similarly, if you’re adding T or G mullions and have noted whether the door set is an inswing or outswing, we can cut the appropriate cutouts in the T and G mullions so everything is already aligned for you before you get on site to do the install.
