To find the minimum opening size, measure from the window lip to the same mullion. Measurement is 877mm. For this installation, we will deduct 9mm for a manufactured size of 886mm.

step 3 – measure the drop

To measure the drop, find the maximum opening size, placing the measuring tape inside the head channel, measuring from the head channel to the top of the window sill, the opening size is 1158mm.

To find the minimum opening size, measure from the head channel fin to inside the bottom channel. Note: this window has a packer at the bottom.  Deduct 5mm for a manufactured size of 1153 allowing the screen to fit into the channels.
